A warm Welcome!

Our restaurant, established in 2019, is located in Söderkulla, Sipoo, at Amiraalintie 2. You can easily find us in the S-Market building, right next to the entrance closest to the roundabout. We are open Mon-Tue 11-18 and Wed-Fri 11-20. Buffet lunch is available on weekdays from 11-15. All our recipes are our own versions of well-known Thai dishes, and credit goes to our chef Vaw, whose infallible taste buds and uncompromising quality guarantee perhaps the country’s best journey into the world of Thai cuisine. Lunch

The buffet is served on weekdays from 11:00 to 15:00. We always strive to offer the best, so the dishes in our buffet selection are made using the same recipes and ingredients as our other dishes.

The buffet price (€14.50) includes a salad bar with our popular dressings, as well as coffee or tea.

Good to know when coming for lunch:

– Please pay for your lunch first at our takeaway counter. Our register is positioned to help minimize congestion in the dining area during peak hours.
– We aim to keep food waste low; therefore, a waste fee is applied. We kindly ask that you only take what you can eat. If you’re unsure whether you’ll like something, please start with a small portion. You can always get more, and in our buffet, you eat as much as you like!
– Due to our small size, we kindly ask you to refrain from remote working in our restaurant during lunchtime.
– During peak times, our kitchen operates at full capacity, so we apologize in advance if there are temporary shortages in the buffet selection. We work as quickly as possible!

Our menu

We accept menu orders after lunch hours starting at 3:00 PM. All our dishes can be enjoyed in the restaurant or taken away. You can also pre-order takeaway by calling 040 440 1880. Please note that we cannot accept takeaway orders during lunch hours.

For dine-in orders, the order time ends one hour before closing. For takeaway orders, we aim to serve as long as possible, depending on the queue situation.

All our dishes are always made from fresh ingredients, with only prawns and other seafood served from frozen.

We use a chili scale for spiciness: one chili is mild and still suitable for children, while five chilies is authentically spicy, even by Thai standards. The chili ratings on the menu reflect our recommendations for an authentic taste experience, but you can always request a milder (or spicier!) version to suit your taste.

Most of our dishes are served with jasmine rice, which is noted in each dish description.

We use Finnish pork. The origin of our chicken varies between Finland and Latvia, depending on availability. The beef is sourced from Finland or Germany.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Finland... still!
For about a year, I've been coming for lunch twice a week and a few times in the evenings. There are similar restaurants closer, but Suan Aahaan's food never disappoints. Consistently delicious. In my opinion, the best place in Uusimaa.

All items on our menu are also available for takeaway. You can also pre-order takeaway by calling 040 440 1880. Please note that we are unable to accept phone orders during lunch hours. The cutoff time for phone orders is approximately half an hour before our closing time. Takeaway lunches are currently on hold; we will resume them as soon as possible – we apologize for the inconvenience!
